ATSIP: The Forum Program is developed by the Association of Transportation Safety Information Professionals (ATSIP), a voluntary professional organization dedicated to improving transportation safety data systems. ATSIP\'s partners include the National Safety Council and the U.S. Department of Transportation, which provide funding and program support.

Forum Audience: Collectors, managers and users of highway safety information, government officials, policy-makers, highway safety program managers and analysts, highway safety and public health researchers.

Subject Matter: Crash, Roadway, Driver, Vehicle, Citation/Adjudication and Emergency Medical Information, measures of exposure, socio-cultural and human factors, emerging technologies for data capture, best practices and lessons learned in dissemination and use of data, coordination of traffic, criminal and public health data, GIS for transportation, data standards (MMUCC, MMIRE, NEMSIS, ANSI D-16.1, etc.), federal initiatives (REAL ID, NIEM, etc.), safety conscious planning, etc.
